La Littorina del Mincio is located in Salionze, alongside the route of the historic railway that once connected Mantua to Peschiera del Garda. Until the late 1960s, this line was served by the iconic "Littorina" railcar.

Running along the Mincio River, the former railway has now been partly transformed into the Ciclopista del Sole (Sun Cycle Route), which is also part of the EuroVelo 7 cycling network. Every year, this scenic route welcomes visitors from all over the world, reflecting the growing popularity of sustainable, cultural, and rural tourism.

Our property is situated in a borderland rich in history and cultural heritage. Nearby you can visit landmarks such as the Visconti Bridge in Valeggio sul Mincio, the medieval Scaliger castles, the beautiful Sigurtà Garden Park, and the historic battlefields of Custoza, Solferino, and San Martino della Battaglia. The magnificent city of Mantua, with its lakes, as well as the Bertone Nature Reserve and Bosco della Fontana Nature Reserve, are also just a short distance away.
